Being Truthful In Imaginary Circumstances

I first began my journey with directing by stage managing/scribing for an original play created by the ensemble of The Actors' Gang and directed by Tim Robbins called "The New Colossus" premiered at The Actors' Gang (2018) in Culver City and then on tour in South America at several festivals (2019). 

I was then assistant director to Tim Robbins for an original production of "Johnny Got His Gun" (2018) and to Bob Turton for an original production of "Violence; The Misadventures of Spike Spangle, Farmer" (2019) both at The Actors' Gang theater in Culver City, CA. 

Between those opportunities, I directed an original play, "A Perfect World" (2019) for an in-house festival with the Gang also at The Actors' Gang theater.

Since moving back to Pittsburgh in 2020, I have directed, costumed, and lighting designed for North Hills Middle School's Drama Club's productions of Moana Jr (2022) & Into the Woods Jr (2023). 

In August 2023, I directed and edited a music video, "Dirty Alcoholic" for the band Paging Doctor Moon and am planning to do several more videos in collaboration with them this year.

Created an original character in a new play, Perdita by Nathan Wagner, which premiered at the New Hazlett Theater in November 2022.

I love to collaborate and create with other artists and am very interested in continuing to Direct.

I always enjoyed playing pretend as a child, gathering my toys to take them through trials and tribulations together. I didn't know it then, but I was igniting a passion within myself for storytelling that would stay with me for my entire life. I first studied acting at Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts in my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. While there I fell in love with taking an avant-garde approach to theater and learned that you are what you choose to be, not what others see you as. I graduated early with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and moved to Los Angeles to pursue my career in warmer weather. I worked my way through The Groundlings improv program, which was a master class in characters and what makes us tick. Ironically, while vying for time in film and television I ended up taking class at a theater, The Actors' Gang, where I studied their style and became a member of their company. I made the decision to move back to Pittsburgh in 2020 and am having a wonderful time being back home.
